Tech time appointments can be booked by calling the Library and asking to book a tech time. Alternately, you can book an appointment in person at the Reference Desk. Sessions are one hour. Additional tech time appointments can be booked after the first session.



What Can We Help With?

We can assist with the following issues:

  • How to use devices including computers, tablets, and smart phones (iPhone and Android).

  • Computer, tablet, or smart phone first time set-up.

  • Software troubleshooting - figuring out what problems you are having and fixing them if possible. If this is not possible, we can still give advice. We do not cover hardware issues and/or troubleshooting.

  • How to set up or use email.

  • Recovering an email or other account.

  • Internet safety.

  • How to use specific programs such as Zoom, app stores, social media, Libby, Discord, etc.

  • How to use Microsoft Office and Google programs.

  • General device knowledge and use.
